Parenting a Second Time Around
Parenting a Second Time Around is being held on October 6th and 27th from
8-11 am. This is a unique class tailored to help those through the parenting journey of children who are not their own. It is a great class for grandparents, aunts/uncles, foster parents or others who are parenting someone else's child. The class is FREE, but please register here. Babysitting and breakfast are provided.
Strengthening Families Program
Specifically designed for high-risk families due to abuse, neglect, drug/alcohol addiction, and/or behavioral issues, this program teaches parenting, social, and family life skills. Parents and children work together and separately to help strengthen the family unit as a whole.
Session 1 (Parents and Children)
The class is held every Tuesday for 11 weeks starting September 4 from 6-7:30 pm. Classes are for parents and child(ren), ages 3-17. Please register here. Registrations welcome through the duration of the class.
Session 2 (Adults Only)
Starting on November 13, this adult-only, condensed class will be held for FIVE consecutive Tuesdays from 6-7:30 pm. Classes are free, but registration is required. Sign up here to attend. Registrations welcome through the duration of the class.
