GriefShare Support Group
Care Connections offers a a 13-week support group on Wednesday mornings starting March 6 from 11:30 am-1 pm at Care Connections to help those who have lost someone close to them. This support group is free and open to all! Participants are welcome to bring their lunch. Attendees can choose to actively participate or simply listen to others. Divorce Care and Divorce Care 4 Kids
DivorceCare and DivorceCare 4 Kids (DC4K) is a 13-week program provided in a group setting to help adults and children cope with divorce or separation. Adult classes are held in conjunction with DC4K at Care Connections every Thursday from 6-7:30 beginning March 7. Classes are free, but we ask all participants to register here. Registrations welcome through the duration of the class.
Foster Fridays, a monthly support group for foster families, welcomes infants through age 15 for crafts, activities, and fun while caretakers enjoy a much-needed break. The first session is extra sweet because there will be ice cream treats! Held Friday, March 8 from 5:30-7:30 pm at Care Connections, participation is free! Mommy & Wee
Designed for moms and their children (infants-preschool), Mommy & Wee helps moms navigate the sometimes complicated process of caring for their infants while gaining insights from community experts and other moms. Session topics include: development, postpartum depression, breastfeeding, nutrition, safe sleeping, relationship changes, and more! Held on the second and last Mondays of the month (starting January 14) from 9:30-11:30 am for thirteen consecutive weeks at Care Connections, Mommy & Wee is free, but space is limited.
