St. John’s Lutheran Church and School
Ministry Expansion Campaign
John 15:16
Here at St. John's Lutheran Church and School, we take saving souls seriously. Since the inception of our church and school in 1848, St. John's Lutheran School has been an integral part of our mission to Love and Lead All to Jesus. In the past five years alone, the school has brought 49 children and eight adults to the waters of Holy Baptism!
Also in the past five years, St. John's Lutheran School has experienced tremendous growth! Enrollment increased 24% in preschool and 46% in grades K-8! And, although St. John's continues to grow, the aging building is stifling its true potential. With three grades currently at capacity, we're quickly running out of space. Five prospective students were even turned away this school year, simply because there wasn't enough room.
This ministry expansion campaign addresses these issues by building a brand-new early childhood center with eight classrooms, constructing a multipurpose-use storm shelter, and renovating the bathrooms in the current school building.

In John 15:16, Jesus reminds us of our identity and calling. He says, “I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will last.” Expanding St. John’s Lutheran School not only helps fulfill the church’s mission to Love and Lead All to Jesus, but also answers the call from Christ to bear fruit that will last. The eternal salvation of countless kids depends on it.

The people of St. John’s are now being called to bear fruit for eternity. Through this ministry expansion plan, even more children and their families will come to know the grace of God at St. John’s Lutheran Church and School for generations to come.
This is not a case for St. John’s. This is a case for Christ.
