All women are welcome to a beginner's yoga and devotion Wednesdays (through March 25) from 9:30-11:30 am at Care Connections. Participants are encouraged to bring a mat, water bottle, and towel or blanket. No experience is necessary. Call or text Lauren at 636.224.8137 to register.

Children in grades 1-4 are invited to watch a movie in Founders' Hall Sunday, March 22 from 12-2:30 pm. They will enjoy pizza, popcorn, movie theater candy, and a devotion related to the movie. Students can bring comfortable clothes to change into after church as well as pillows, sleeping bags, blankets, etc. to keep comfy and cozy! Click here to register by Sunday, March 15.

All children ages 10 and under (and their families!) are invited to an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 4 from 8:30-10:30 am, and all are invited to a Pancake Breakfast held in conjunction with it! Featuring Chris Cakes, the pancake breakfast will be served in the gym all morning. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place on the playground at staggered times by age groups. Children ages 1-2 hunt at 9 am, children ages 3-4 hunt at 9:15 am, children ages 5-6 hunt at 9:30 am, children ages 7-8 hunt at 9:45 am, and children ages 9-10 hunt at 10 am. Rain or shine! All are invited to attend a farewell lunch for Youth Director Larry Yochum on Sunday, April 12 at 12:30 pm in the gym as he accepted a call to serve as Associate Director of Coaching and Implementation at Concordia Center for the Family. Lunch and drinks will be provided. Each family is asked to bring a precut dessert to share. Please register to attend and/or serve here by Sunday, April 5.


All are invited to Mental Health First Aid Saturday, April 18 from 8:30 am-1:30 pm at Care Connections to learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance abuse challenges among adults. Lunch is included. Before the course, participants will complete a two-hour, self-paced online course. All are welcome to the Community Sale in St. John's parking lot Saturday, April 25 from 8 am-12 pm. Rain or shine! Please enter the parking lot from St. John's Church Road. Anyone interested in being a vendor at the sale for a $40 registration fee (two parking spaces) may email ptl@sjlsarnold.org by April 18.

Due to ongoing construction and space constraints, St. John's is offering a Take-Home Summer Sunday School called "Immanuel" for students in preschool through fourth grade. Students will receive a kit containing eight Bible lessons that uniquely teach how God was with His people in each Bible account and how He is with us today! There will also be activities, supplies, video and music links, and additional project and game ideas that coordinate with each lesson! Please register here by Sunday, April 26 to receive Take-Home Summer Sunday School! Kits will be available on Sundays (May 17-31) for pick up in the lobby. The church and the community are invited to St. John's on Friday, May 8 from 6-9 pm for games, bounce houses, pony rides, face painting, live music, food, fireworks, and fun! The entire event is completely FREE! Please register to volunteer here.

All parents and grandparents are welcome to "Parenting in the Pews" Sunday, May 10 at 9:30 am in Founders' Hall. Designed to help adults engage young children in worship, participants will also learn how to answer kids' tough worship questions and receive additional resources to help them long after this class has ended. Please register here by May 3.


All present (and future!) grandparents are welcome to attend a free, Grace-Based Grandparenting Seminar on Saturday, May 16 from 9:30 am-1 pm at Care Connections. In this seminar, participants will learn how to make an earthly and eternal difference with their grandchildren by developing a profound relational strategy that will empower them to touch their grandchildren's lives for time and eternity.
