St. John’s is honoring all veterans of the armed forces on Wednesday, November 13. Breakfast will be served from 7:30-8:30 am in Founders’ Hall followed by a special chapel service at 8:30 am in the sanctuary. Please register here by November 6.

Everyone is invited to learn how to draw letters as an art form on Friday, November 22 from 7-9 pm in the gym. Participants will receive a lettering booklet and brush pen. They will enjoy food, fellowship, and raffle baskets while making personalized Christmas gift tags. The cost is $25, and all proceeds will benefit those attending the National Youth Gathering. All women are invited to Advent by Candlelight, an opportunity to focus on the true meaning of Christmas, Saturday, December 7 from 6:30-8:30 pm in the gym. Doors will open at 6 pm. If you would like to host a table of eight, please provide a nativity centerpiece and a dessert to share. Please register here by December 1.
That's My King traces the Old Testament prophecies and the New Testament hopes for King Jesus through a modern retelling by Grandpa and his grandkids. Intertwined with inspirational Christmas music from a full orchestra and drama scenes portrayed by St. John's members, performances will be held Friday, December 13 at 7 pm, Saturday, December 14 at 3 pm and 7 pm, and Sunday, December 15 at 10 am. Admission is free and no tickets are required.
Wreaths Across America is an organization that exists to remember and honor fallen veterans by coordinating yearly wreath-laying ceremonies at thousands of locations. All are invited to participate by sponsoring a $17 wreath to be placed on a veteran's grave at the St. John's Cemetery or Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. For each wreath, St. John's will receive $5. Proceeds will help fund the Military Care Package Ministry. To sponsor a wreath before the December 2 deadline, please click here. Save the date!
